Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting, correcting, and servicing issues with inmate phone systems
• Identifying, repairing and resolving operational inmate call system and phones
• Addressing basic telephone repair and maintenance needs of the facility
• Familiar with wireless networking
• In depth knowledge about fiber optic cable, testing, splicing and provisioning

• Wireless configuration testing, debugging and troubleshooting
• Troubleshoot VLAN, Ethernet and VOIP networking issue
• Installation CAT5/CAT6 wires, Wi-Fi access points enclosures and antennas
• Install and configure Android Tablets, wireless devices and other inmate communication devices
• Providing system reports and traffic data as required
• Meeting all service requirements put forth by customer contract
• Building and maintaining working relationships with the facility staff and customer contacts
• Installing hardware and related equipment
• Data and low-voltage cabling and wiring
• Kiosk installation, maintenance and repair
• Cash collections on Lobby Kiosk
• Data entry, running reports – Must be able to type and use Microsoft Excel proficiently

Will require travel to and work in correctional facilities. Must be available on call 24 hours x 7 days except when on vacation.

Must be able to pass company and facility background checks

Must have good work ethic

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour

Experience:

• Telecommunication: 3 years (Preferred)
