What You’ll Do
Have an opportunity to learn a new skill and get paid
Be trained on the Technical side and the business of Medicaid
Exposed to C, Pro/C, SQL and Unix Enterprise Applications
Learn via experiential activities with tenured Gainwell Technologies Mentors
Invest 4 months, working 20 hours per week
Take part in C and Unix online learning courses from Dartmouth University to be completed outside of the 20 hour work week
Complete the program successfully with a score of 80% or better
Meet or exceed client expectations and perform work assigned by others
Will be offered to join our Conway, Arkansas team at an Associate level if the above 2 requirements are met
What You Need to Get the Job Done
Technical Bachelor’s degree (GPA 3.25) or equivalent and relevant experience
0-2 years’ experience writing code using languages such as (and not limited to) Java, C, C++, C#, VB.Net
Apply basic foundation of a function’s principles, theories and concepts to assignments of limited scope
Use professional concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education or previous experience while developing expertise and practical knowledge of applications within the business environment
Provide information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts and exercise independent judgment within defined parameters
Basic Understanding of RDBMS databases such SQL Server and Oracle
Basic understanding of testing tools and unit test scripting
Experience using (or an understanding of the use of) an Integrated Development Environment (e.g., Eclipse, Visual Studio)
Primarily utilize Pro/C and SQL
Environment will be UNIX and Oracle
