About the Role
The Manager of HR Service Delivery Automation will support the planning and implementation of programs and initiatives that will help achieve the transformational goals of the People and Culture teams. This individual will collaborate with HR Shared Services (HRSS), HR Operations Center (HROC) and other business functions to ideate and implement technical automation solutions that will increase efficiencies related to People and Culture processes. This role will be responsible for supporting the continuous improvement of our Case Management Infrastructure in ServiceNow, and other task automation programs, as we modernize the HR Service Delivery Model for Gap Inc.
What You’ll Do
Leads HR automation projects from initial ideation, requirements gathering, analysis and development, through to completion and quality assurance testing, in support of the delivery of HR Services
Projects may include:
Managing HR Service Delivery (Case Management) process improvements in ServiceNow
Managing automation projects to leverage GapChatBot, RPA, etc
Participates in HR projects as an People Operations Automation Manager working with a cross-functional team to support the delivery for HR Services.
Assists with developing business cases for future process automations and determining metrics for measuring value and success of the automation
Maintains understanding of global systems, tools, business processes and procedures to further develop process and system efficiencies
Ensures delivery of projects within budget and timeframes to meet estimated targets
Act as a liaison and partner between HRSS, IT and other business functions, providing subject matter expertise
Accountable for the delivery of critical items with the the HR Shared Services Roadmap that support the achievement of transformational goals for the People and Culture team.
Who You Are
Customer oriented, collaborative, and able to shift directions quickly when priorities change
Detail driven, analytical, and have a system-thinking approach to problem solving and understanding how things affect one another in an overall system
Experience using data to drive the business and solve problems
Knowledge and experience using ServiceNow HR Service Delivery and Workday
Previous experience in the end to end implementations of ServiceNow for HR
Prior knowledge of HR or Shared Services operations and systems (employee life cycle, data and records management, off-boarding) will be a strong advantage
Understanding of or experience in building RPA solutions
