Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned sites

Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards
Foot patrols of the client facility
General security responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Process calls by gathering information, asking questions, documenting responses
Dispatch on calls for emergency services and / or security response
Monitor multiple alarm systems and respond to panic, burglary and fire activations at locations nationwide
Assist the Threats & Analytical team in monitoring the safety and security of ADM Traveler’s world-wide, and evaluating both public and proprietary intelligence and social media date, specifically as it relates to company interests
Maintain documentation on incident information using the iTrak System
Field or refer calls for non-emergency and general assistance
Completing rounds and responding to building alarms at the North American Headquarters (NAHQ)
Required Qualifications
Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as customer service skills
Must be able to hear and speak clearly in order to effectively communicate in person, by phone or via radio
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time, with extensive computer, phone and radio use. Standing, bending and kneeling, will also be necessary
Basic computer and keyboarding knowledge, including experience with the Microsoft Office Suit of programs
Must demonstrate high levels of integrity, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Must have a motivated personality, work effectively within a team environment and have a willingness to take initiative
The ability to multi-task effectively, while maintaining a calm demeanor, especially during stressful and emergency situations
Must be able to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift
Flexibility with regard to availability
On the job training for this position will take place over the first 90 days. Any candidate without prior experience within the SOC will be required to complete training on all three shifts, in order to ensure he or she will be well prepared to fill in at any time.
The SOC operates three shifts. This will require working holidays and / or weekends
Because the SOC is a 24/7 operation, all shifts must be fully staffed at all times. This means that additional hours, to cover vacation and sick time, will be available, and will be required at times.
Additional Requirements
Ability to obtain the Illinois Security License (Perc Card)
At least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
Pass an extensive screening process including a background check and drug screen
Legally authorized to work in the United States
