WHAT TO EXPECT
As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward-thinking, open-minded, and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located in our Salem, NH office, you will provide a broad range of HR support to the office’s production team as well as the commercial and corporate functional staff. The selected candidate will proactively partner with site leadership to provide support, anticipate needs, and help coordinate facility training and development programs.
You will report directly into the functional Operations HR leader and dotted line report to the Plant Manager.
In this role, you will function as an individual contributor.
Key responsibilities:
Foster a supportive and collaborative environment with all team members. Promote a positive employee relations atmosphere, help to quickly close grievances.
Help monitor the organization’s culture so that it supports the attainment of the company’s goals and promotes employee satisfaction.
Recruitment: post/screen/interview prospective employees. Assist managers with the selection process. Track progress and provide hiring status updates with managers regarding open positions.
On-boarding: prepare and deliver orientation to new employees; including reviewing benefit programs, policies, career pathing and mentoring progress. Identify ways to improve and update processes/procedures.
Provide friendly, professional, personalized service to all internal and external team members. Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend job fairs and seminars for professional development.
Manage leaves of absences; worker’s compensation claims; maintaining compliance to applicable labor laws.
Oversee and maintain time tracking, review payroll for processing, financial deadlines and reporting.
Assist with the facility’s annual Affirmative Action Plans and related EEO activities to ensure compliance to all applicable legal guidelines; develop robust outreach programs to ensure a diverse slate of candidates for all opportunities.
Assist with the implementation of company safety and health programs. Track and posts OSHA-required data and files reports.
Prepare and analyze reports that are necessary to carry out the functions of the department and company.
Assist with the development and communication strategy of HR policies regarding employee relations, employee handbook and travel policy.
Assist with the implementation of the performance management system that includes performance development plans and employee development programs.
Administer and maintain skill-based pay programs for production employees.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
ABOUT YOU
Bachelor’s degree is preferred or 5+ years of equivalent experience
Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in a Human Resources department
Experience in writing HR policies and procedures
Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations
Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion
Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
MS Office suite proficiency
10% travel is required
Excited to work in the office with great teammates
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management preferred
PHR/SPHR certification
Five (5) years of experience in a Human Resources generalist function within a manufacturing environment
PAY & BENEFITS
Full-Time
Salary: $52,000 – $85,000
No bonus potential

Eligible for 3 weeks of paid vacation + 11 holidays (9 scheduled & 2 floating) + 8 sick days. All vacation days are accrued
