Role Summary:
Reporting to Regional HR Business Partners, the HR Generalist performs functions in support of the HR Department on various projects ranging from benefits, applicant tracking system, employee relations, and HR process improvement.
Ideal candidates will have 2 years of HR generalist experience, which includes internal employee relations on various projects related to HR. Successful candidates must be able to work independently with little supervision, are able to adapt to a dynamic environment, and are able to effectively present information to HR Managers and other team members.
This role is an integral part the company’s Human Resource team and brings value by handling data entry, assisting in various HR Reports for year end and annual items, filing, and day-to-day HR administrative type duties, which is heavily involved in data management.
The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including employee relations, hiring, benefits, leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
This role is required to travel once a quarter or as business needs permit.
How you will make an IMPACT/Key Responsibilities:
Data Entry & E-Filing: Responsible for data entry and management of various documentation.
Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities.
Able to coordinate and handle incoming questions and concerns of employees and direct them accordingly.
Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties.
Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Implement and administer employee policies.
Identify ways to improve policies and procedures.
Offer proactive recruiting assistance, along with providing a successful onboarding experience.
Offer guidance on recruitment, terminations, performance management, employee relations and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between personnel and senior management.
What you need to SUCCEED:
Education / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field is an asset.
1-2 years administrative/coordination experience; 2-3 Years of HR Generalist experience.
Expertise in implementing HR policies and procedures.
Experienced handling a wide range of employee relations situations.
Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations.
