Regional Manager – Operations – Southern California
Reports To: Managing Director (West Region)
Location: Remote role. Candidate can be based in Southern California or neighboring states of Southern California
Heavy travelling required: 60-70%
Summary
The Regional Manager is responsible for day-to-day decision making and team leadership pertaining to all aspects of operations at several facilities within a geographic area. The Regional Manager will also oversee the deployment of corporate strategic plans for these several facilities.
This role will ensure the effective and efficient operation of all site processes in support of the organization’s targets for revenue growth, profitability, customer service, quality, productivity and safety. The Regional manager will provide coaching and business oversight for the Facility Managers or Supervisors, and other leadership staff within their geography, and provide oversight for acquisition integration activity within their geography.

Job Duties
o Work with FM’s and Finance to conduct P&L Statement and Cost reviews
o Collaborate with corporate, Managing Director and COO on annual budget development
o Identify high impact value-creation or cost savings opportunities (operational, pricing, services)
o Monitor regional dashboards (our central order tracking and fulfillment software)
o Coordinate work with client care, clinics, and other departments to drive issue resolution
o Analyze daily and weekly demand to optimize labour across the region
o Administer HR best practices for hiring, terminations, and performance management
o Support training for all new and existing staff
o Manage headcount to budget and redeploy resources regionally if needed
o Ensure equipment preventative maintenance schedules are adhered to; define PM requirements where required, with support of central resources
o Define and drive continuous improvement plan for each of the facilities in the region
o Manage implementation of special projects (new products, services or equipment related)
o Prepare annual Capex requirements, support project implementation
o Ensure policies, standards, procedures and best practices are deployed
o Formally and informally audit facilities to identify and close gaps versus standard
o Maintain facilities in “tour ready” condition
o Confidently address any, and all, client concerns as they are escalated from FMs
