GEGI LLC Hiring for Senior PHP Developer at Remote Full Time

GEGI specializes in creating a reliable, flexible, and accessible student management system for private schools in the USA. GEGI Student Information System helps clients in many areas during the educational process, providing admissions, compliance, financial assistance, accounting, and employment services.

Currently, we are expanding our team, and looking for experienced PHP Developers. Our ideal candidate is supposed to be set up for long-term cooperation, and be able to work in a team, but at the same time stay quite independent.

The main goal of this role is to develop new system functionality in existing services and create new microservices. Typical tasks include story planning and grading, task scheduling, programming, test writing, code review, and task review.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new modules and features of the SIS system in a team of 2-5 programmers under the direction of Team Lead.
• Plan and evaluate stories.
• Prepare technical specifications, and evaluate and control deadlines for your tasks.

You have an excellent chance if:

• You have 5+ years of experience as a full-time programmer and experience in a Senior PHP Developer position.
• You have a strong understanding of the principles of OOP, and the ability to apply them in practice.
• You have 3+ years of experience with PHP, and knowledge of PHP 7.0 or higher version
• You have experience with MySQL, and the ability to analyze and optimize SQL queries
• You have basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
