Job Title:

Kitchen & Bakery Production Team Member

Job Description:

• All kitchen team members will be cross-trained in each position in order to build a resilient team that can all work together.
• Kitchen production jobs will include bagel & dough production, pastry prodution, food prep for sandwich station, sandwich making, take-away food prep, and early morning opening bake shift.
• After cross training, team members will be settling into a specific position that fits their strengths and interests, as scheduling allows.

Kitchen Positions:

KITCHEN PRODUCTION:

• Responsibilites include: making dressings, sauces, food prep for sandwich station, take-away deli prep, slicing meats and cheeses, working with fruits, vegetables, and local foods. This position will have room for recipe creation and collaboration between departments.
• Managing inventory to our kitchen standards

BAKERY & PASTRY PRODUCTION:

• Scaling, mixing, shaping bagels, breads, croissants, pastries
• Feeding and managing our starter
• Managing inventory of bakery ingredients
• Cleaning and maitainence of bakery tools and equipment

SANDWICH/LINE COOK

• Preparing breakfast and lunch sandwiches
• Managing inventory and cleaning

Gemini is a new business opening up on Main Street in Bethel this fall. We intend to become a stronghold hub in the community where people can meet up, refresh themselves, become acquainted with the Bethel region, and rely on incredibly delicious food and excellent coffee. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
