Our work depends on a Security Operations Center Analyst joining our team to work with a variety of subject matter experts covering the full breadth of cybersecurity and learn from their expertise.
HOW A SECURITY OPERATIONS CENTER ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Serve as Tier 2 customer service for a range of security incidents
● Field calls from systems administrators who are attempting to resolve cybersecurity concerns (e.g. problems with application of STIG, IAVM)

● Respond to inquiries regarding ACAS scan results
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Required Experience:
● 1+ years of related experience in a service desk environment
Required Technical Skills:
● Microsoft training completed through Skillport or other applicable learning management platform
Security Clearance Level:
● Secret
Required Skills and Abilities:
● Strong understanding of operating systems, software, and devices
● Problem-solving skills
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills:
● Experience or familiarity with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), and Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM)

GDIT IS YOUR PLACE:
The likely hourly rate for this position is between $25.96 – $38.94. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
