Responsible To Anticipate For This Role
Responsible for the Abrams obsolescence parts from the engineering selection to the issue per PCO’s direction along with managing repair vendors for TAP.
Represent the Section Manager in internal and external senior leadership presentations, dialogues, and decision-making.
Demonstrates active contribution in leading and managing Abrams obsolescence logistics supply management for U.S Military projects including FMS from proposal through closeout to meet cost, schedule and performance requirements as outlined in applicable contract scope of work.
Responsible for obtaining required quantities from the USG Abrams Obsolescence group / TAP COR.
Responsible for requesting quotes through SCM for the proposal process.
Manages and submits request for proposals through the proposal process through to contracts submission to ACC.
Manages the contract award from work directive to purchase order submission.
Tracks, tightly controls, and issues obsolescence stock injunction with Tallahassee site per PCO letter, email, or modification.
Collaborates with and serves as a consultant to program Abrams production management, the US Government (USG) including FMS programs and TAP to shape positive outcomes regarding cost, schedule, and performance.
Submits all required CDRLs, reports, worksheets and documents as per contractual guidance as required.
Contributes and facilitates the implementation of Safety, ISO, and other GDLS initiatives
Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Qualifications Sought:
Bachelor’s degree
Must be a highly motivated individual who is a self-starter, mentally sharp that can work independently with the USG and GDLS Teams with minimal oversight.
Must have solid personal computer skills in MS Office suite, Oracle Database Experience, and Digital transformation a plus
Limited travel required (CONUS).
Additional Information / Desired Experience
Must be capable of obtaining a NACI.
Must possess a deep understanding of working with our USG client for management of Logistics expectations.
Must be capable of demonstrating the ability to solve complex problems at the lowest level.
