Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Reports to: Logistics Manager

Position Type: Full Time

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Description

Accurately count, tag, inspect, process and record outbound and inbound receipts of shipments from all sources in accordance with company procedures, thereby, increasing accuracy of inventory on hand and promptness of inventory available for production. Load and unload inbound product off trucks as needed.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Using sales orders to locate all items for shipment
• Stage, pack and seal to prepare materials for shipping using work devices such as hand tools, power tools.
• Notify and to rectify problems, such as damage, shortages and nonconformance to specifications.
• Load outbound LTL or Full Truck shipments
• Inspect and count all incoming inventory and product and properly store at correct location.
• Assist in staging inbound product
• Unload inbound trucks as needed
• Maintain and organize stock of all items.
• Perform cycle count.

Job Requirements

• Must be a highly self-motivated individual that is able to make decisions within set parameters in a high pace environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Attention to detail and accuracy is critical
• Forklift operating experience required
• Ability to work independently and make decisions within guidelines
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Good inter-personal skills
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Forklift Operator experience: 1 year
• Drug testing required

Shipping and Receiving experience: 3 years

Job Type: Full-time 8 Paid Holidays, Vacation, Health Insurance offered after 60 days, primarily paid by employer Dental and vision also offered

Salary: $ 14.00 to $16.00 starting with 90 day review
