Job Summary:

This position is for a Sr/Lead Software Developer that will help develop solutions for the CCA (Customer Care & Aftersales) Division of General Motors. Perhaps you are aware of the Supply Chain & Logistics issues that are challenging the global economy right now. This position will be supporting solutions for that exact space in General Motors. In this space, you will work closely with peer developers, Solution Architect, and business to develop the future solutions as they Re-Imagine the future platforms and blend of custom development and enterprise leading vendor software.

Role Responsibilities:

• Full lifecycle application development using standard frameworks and coding standards/patterns
• Coding, unit testing and debugging applications in various software languages
• Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation (CI/CD)
• Document software code and ensure that user documentation i.e. configuration guides, install guides meet requirements
• Integrate software with existing systems
• Maintain standards compliance
• Implement localization or modernization of software
• Work closely with senior developers and software engineers to gain additional knowledge and expertise.
• Proactively engage in the remediation of software issues such as code quality, pattern mismatch, and security issues related to the code/configuration
• Automates testing processes by developing unit test scripts, as needed

Additional Job Description

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of professional software development experience
• Good understanding of software development standard methodologies
• Strong in Java back end and in front end framework technologies
  
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Proven UI Design experience
