Job Overview
The Assistant Dean of Strategy & Operations is responsible for using research, data, benchmarking and analysis to assist the Senior Associate Dean and Associate Dean in assuring that the Georgetown McDonough MBA remains highly ranked and stays relevant in the evolving competitive MBA landscape.
Work Interactions
ing directly to the Associate Dean for MBA Programs, the Assistant Dean of Strategy & Operations oversees a team of 3 full-time Program Office staff (Assistant/Associate Directors and Program Manager), and indirectly supervises a team of undergraduate and graduate students who provide support in data, survey, budget and finance and co-curricular duties.
They interact cross functionally and at all levels with the Dean, Senior Associate Dean, Associate Dean, Program Office team, Admissions Team, Career Services Team, Global Business Experience team, and other McDonough School of Business departments cross-functionally and at all levels.
Additionally, they engage with MBA faculty, students, alumni, university administrative departments(Financial Affairs, Student Accounts, Graduate School, Registrar), and other Georgetown academic partners (Law Center, Medical School, School of Foreign Service, and McCourt School of Public Policy).
They also interact with representatives from McDonough’s international university partners.
