Description
This is a full-time HR Generalist position with the SEHD’s Human Resources Department located in Waycross (Ware County), GA.
Job Responsibilities
Under general supervision, performs a wide range of Human Resource duties in support of the Southeast Health District. Duties include but are not limited to recruitment, daily transactions, benefits, leave, new hire orientation and paperwork as well as other human resources functions dictated by the HR Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university OR Two years of human resource experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Public Health experience. Knowledge and experience in personnel functions (e.g., payroll, benefits). PeopleSoft and NEOGOV experience. Familiar with State of Georgia salary administration procedures/policies, as well as State Personnel Rules and Regulations. Proficient in multiple computer applications. Experience in handling a constant flow of customer service issues and in entering large volumes of data into electronic databases.
