The Customer Account Manager provides superior customer service to maintain consumer relationships and meet company account management expectations while adhering to company standards, policies, and procedures. This role positively impacts customer growth and revenue through sales activities, account management, and providing total customer satisfaction. The Customer Account Manager accomplishes these in a way that is consistent with the RAC mission statement and core values.( You must be capable of carrying and moving objects like, sofas, large appliances, large TV’s.)
Essential FunctionsThe CUSTOMER ACCOUNT MANAGER will:Account Management:
1. Maintain accurate records of customer account activity, to include current and past due accounts
2. Review past due accounts and communicate in person and via phone with the customers to promote timely payments
3. Collect customer payments on a timely basis and meet daily/weekly collection standards
4. Complete customer service calls in a timely manner as assigned
5. Follow all policies and procedures and adhere to all standardsDeliveries & Pick-ups:
1. Load/unload truck, or other vehicle, per policy to safely protect coworker and merchandise
2. Deliver merchandise to customer homes in Company provided vehicle as assigned
3. Install and set up merchandise, and instruct customers on proper use of merchandise
4. Pick-up merchandise from customer homes as assigned
5. Keep vehicles clean and properly maintained as assigned
6. Complete customer service calls in a timely manner as assignedSales:
1. Greet and assist customers on the sales floor
2. Obtain new rental orders on the sales floor and over the phone
3. Complete and explain Installment Sales Agreements as required
4. Prospect for new business by telemarketing and distributing print materialsShowroom and Backroom areas:
1. Refurbish merchandise to like new condition
2. Keep showroom, backroom, and all store areas neat, clean and organized, including vacuuming, dusting, and handling household cleaning materialsRequired Education and Experience
