Responsibilities
Collaborate with customers to understand their domestic logistics needs and align them with our services
Build and maintain a network of reliable service providers for domestic logistics
Oversee the work of service providers to ensure compliance with customer requirements and contractual obligations
Negotiate and manage contracts with service providers and customers
Advise our sales and marketing teams on domestic logistics, enabling new business opportunities
Monitor receivables and support collection efforts
Qualifications
5+ years of industry-related experience or transferrable skills
Knowledge of regulatory requirements for FMCSA truck brokerage and forwarders
Familiarity with truck brokerage and warehouse operations and pricing
Proven ability to communicate effectively across different levels of the organization and with external stakeholders
Self-motivated and driven to exceed challenges
Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking
Preferred Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in contract negotiation and drafting
