Job Overview We are seeking a meticulous and organized Warehouse Logistics Staff member to join our team in a remote capacity. This position is critical to our operational success and offers an opportunity to make substantial contributions in managing IT asset logistics and enhancing efficiency in our processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and report on the movement and status of equipment.
- Establish and uphold logistics procedures and protocols.
- Contribute to the training and professional development of the logistics team.
- Oversee and ensure the fulfillment of requirements for customer reporting systems.
- Facilitate logistics operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Support supply chain management reviews from a customer perspective.
- Participate in initiatives aimed at process enhancement.
- Authorize equipment transfers in the role of custodial property officer.
- Develop and maintain plans for site inventory management.
- Track and manage the disposal of equipment.
- Update records for return material authorizations and shipment statuses.
- Travel to remote locations to manage equipment and conduct inventory.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or a related discipline.
- Proficient in automated inventory control systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in ordering, processing, shipping, receiving, packaging, material handling, and property accountability.
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and property management practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical capability to lift 50 pounds and carry it for 40 feet multiple times daily.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant logistics experience.
- Experience with physical inventory processes and accurate labeling, tracking, and documentation practices.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the year and adapt to challenging working conditions.
