Job Description
Are you ready to take your career in transportation and supply chain to the next level? As a Senior Specialist in Supply Chain Transportation, you will play a vital role in optimizing our end-to-end operations and ensuring seamless delivery of merchandise to our valued customers. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and leaders across the organization to achieve our cost and service objectives. Responsibilities
Proactively resolve supply chain issues to optimize cost and service
Support the execution plans for merchandising and allocation strategies, ensuring efficient product delivery
Act as a liaison with transportation carriers, representing our company’s interests
Manage and monitor the capacity and performance of our domestic carrier base
Analyze cost data to drive financial targets and make informed decisions
Monitor, report, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) across the transportation network
Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in transportation, supply chain, or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and ability to adapt quickly to new systems
Familiarity with transportation management or exposure to network flow management
Strong ability to manage a diverse carrier base and prior experience in carrier management
Degree in Business, Economics, Logistics, or a related field preferred
