Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our Security Modernization Team, focusing on Zero Trust Architecture Implementation (ZTAI). In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our team’s efforts by assisting with various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the team to create monthly PowerPoint presentations for the ZTAI IPT (Implementation Project Team).
Prepare meeting minutes for the monthly IPT meetings.
Assist the Project Manager in coordinating and collecting updates for the IPT.
Maintain the MS Teams Channel and SharePoint site.
Perform data entry tasks efficiently and accurately.
Set up project folders in accordance with Leidos/CBP guidelines.
Update processes, SOPs, and best practices documents.
Edit and format reports using standardized templates.
Manage multiple drafts and issue new versions as drafts develop.
Support your supervisor and Project Managers with other general administrative duties as needed.
Basic Qualifications
Strong multitasking abilities in a high-volume environment.
Proficiency in MS Word/Office.
Excellent proofreading, grammar, and formatting skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment while maintaining a calm, positive, and proactive outlook.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Clearance: All CBP SOC employees are required to successfully complete a CBP Background Investigation to support this program.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working with DHS or CBP customers.
Familiarity with PowerBI, Jira, and MS Teams.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree and 2–4 years of prior relevant experience OR
Master’s Degree with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience OR
Relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Pay Range
$54,600.00 – $84,000.00 – $113,400.00
