Role Overview
As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and efficient data records. This remote, full-time position requires a commitment of 40 to 45 hours per week, offering a unique opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and embrace challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high-volume data entry and manage electronic files
Troubleshoot issues related to transactions, data setup, and system errors
Review financial records and historical reports for accuracy and completeness
Validate documentation to ensure consistency and proper reconciliation
Conduct various tasks, including word processing, spreadsheet and database maintenance
Process applications for service and complete necessary data entry as well as research
Collaborate with the project team and handle additional duties as required
Qualifications
Minimum of one year of experience in case management, applicant intake, eligibility determination, application processing, data entry, or related field
Willingness to learn new technologies and skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and other reporting functions
Polished phone etiquette and strong verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
Ability to meet and exceed deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of Medicaid, SNAP, and similar government programs
Experience with integrated eligibility systems and enterprise applications
