Position Summary
Join our team as an integral part of our Human Resources Department! As an HR Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in providing administrative and technical support to the HR management team. Primary Functions
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources Department.
Offer information, assistance, and guidance to staff regarding HR-related needs.
Act as a liaison between HR and IT to support departmental technology requirements.
Qualifications
Associates degree in business administration or AAS in administration highly desirable.
Minimum of two years administrative support experience, preferably in HR or a related area.
Strong computer literacy; knowledge of HRIS, HCM, or related systems is highly desirable.
Proven analytical, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously while also taking direction as needed.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding human resources materials and information.
Duties And Responsibilities
Assist in the recruitment and hiring process for exempt/salaried positions.
Orient new employees, process payroll, and ensure completion of required employment documentation.
Administer ECS’ training programs in collaboration with the Director of Talent Development.
Manage Workers’ Compensation claims and FMLA notifications related to STD and LTD claims.
Maintain orderly and compliant employee records and files.
Coordinate placement of student interns and program consultant contract documentation.
Generate reports to comply with government requirements.
Maintain ECS Human Resources Intranet home page.
Perform other duties as assigned in compliance with the changing needs of the Human Resources department.
Working Conditions
Monday – Friday with limited evenings and weekends.
Some remote work allowed with structured office hours required.
