Responsibilities
Compensation and Benefits:
Conduct thorough analyses of compensation and benefits data from diverse sources, comparing against industry standards, geographic regions, and revenue metrics.
Handle monthly reconciliation and allocation of benefit invoices, including FSA, HSA, and Commuter Benefits.
Prepare comprehensive reports and engaging presentations in Excel and PowerPoint, offering insights and recommendations as needed.
Continuously improve business processes to enhance output and efficiency.
Address employee inquiries regarding our benefits, including leave policies, insurance plans, disability programs, FMLA, sick leave, and vacation options.
Ensure prompt and accurate payments to benefit vendors and government agencies.
Provide documentation on compensation, benefits, and reporting procedures to enhance understanding of analytics.
Prepare employee census and related reports.
Compliance
Stay updated on career development trainings, sharing knowledge with the team, especially in areas like Pay Transparency and Making Impactful Presentations.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and union employment laws and regulations related to benefits.
HRIS; Data Management; Support of Payroll:
Conduct regular analysis of HR metrics to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
Maintain precise HR data in various systems, including HRIS, benefit vendor portals, and government websites.
Generate and analyze HRIS reports on employee demographics, new hires, terminations, hours, salaries, bonuses, and benefits.
Process accurate changes to employee positions, salaries, locations, and statuses in the HRIS.
Create new positions in the HRIS to support strategic decisions regarding company and departmental structure.
Support the payroll manager with timely and accurate processing in the HRIS system for new hires, terminations, transfers, pay changes, tax updates, and time-off requests.
Assist in resolving routine issues related to employment paperwork and HRIS processes professionally and with a solutions-oriented approach.
Collaborate on other HR-related duties as assigned by management based on business and departmental needs.
Qualifications, Capabilities, And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Demonstrated Experience In Compensation And Benefits Analysis.
Previous proficiency in HRIS management and timekeeping systems.
Strong understanding of HR practices, policies, and employment laws.
Proficiency in Excel, including V-lookups, Pivot Tables, and formulas.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information discreetly and professionally.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and HR analytics tools is advantageous.
Experience in the fitness industry or a similar field is highly desirable.
Strong relationship-building skills with employees at all levels of the organization.
Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
Self-motivated, resilient, and proactive.
Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Uphold high standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality.
