Position Description:

As the Director of Logistics, you will manage of all logistical movement within gettacar. You will manage every piece and part from A to Z throughout the vehicle connectivity web as it’s optimized for customer service and efficiency.

We’ll count on you to:

• Provide leadership and direction for the project to ensure all safety and operational procedures and processes are implemented and maintained, as well as overseeing productivity, inventory management, quality, and safety
• Implement and maintain operational processes and procedures for both transportation and inventory management, reporting on performance and initiating improvements for operations
• Provide direction, development, and leadership to managers and supervisors
• Hire, train, develop, and appraise staff effectively; take corrective action as necessary in a timely manner and accordance with company policy
• Coordinate operational activities through planning with departmental managers and supervisors to ensure objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Manage inventory and ensure transaction integrity across the network
• Maximize transport efficiency, including backhaul opportunities

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years of experience in logistics management, supply chain, or similar
• Ability to develop individuals and teams for organizational success
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong prioritizing and problem-solving skills.
