GioMare Group, LLC Hiring for Telecommunications Surveyor Job at Laurel, MD Full Time

Preferred candidate would have a working knowledge of survey fundamentals for telecommunications.

Candidate will be responsible for preforming the daily functions needed to conduct existing condition, as-built and pole surveys.

Candidate must be capable of obtaining the necessary field information, record verification, document preparation, data input, for all aerial or underground telecommunications facilities including but not limited to fiber cable, poles, terminals, pedestals and hand holes.

The successful candidate must meet a majority of the knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience requirements outlined below:

• Must be able to take concise field notes and be responsible for all field work and staking sheets, permits, ROW, and the final drafting of the field notes when required.
• Must have functional knowledge of PC applications. Computer aided drafting systems knowledge a plus.
• Adhere to and promote the environmental, health & safety policies of the company.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
• Self-starter with integrity and confidence who strives to achieve in even the most challenging environments with limited supervision.
• Team player with developed interpersonal skills, comfortable in a cross-functional, multi-cultural environment.
• Good decision making, analytical, and problem solving abilities.
• Strong communication and writing skills with the ability to clearly explain issues.

Qualifications and requirements:

· High School diploma or GED equivalent.

· Experience with measuring tools, drafting and a Utility or Construction background.

· Knowledge of proper safety practices

· Current driver’s license

· Reliable transportation (Local travel only, Federal mileage rate paid)
