Position Summary:
The Member Services Specialist role is responsible for professionally and knowledgeably representing the council as first point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and website requests.
Responsible for providing equitable and inclusive customer service resolution and communication to all members, volunteers and customers, both internal and external. Responsible for processing of member registrations and associated paperwork within council timelines.
Major Accountabilities-Member Services
1. Enhance member experience by responding professionally to service questions utilizing the Salesforce knowledge base of solutions. Professionally manage or escalate conflict calls as appropriate.
2. Ensure a minimum of 80% of contacts are resolved at first contact.
3. Stay up to date on all council-related events, calendars and FAQ’s in order to provide knowledgeable, professional solutions
4. Return missed calls, emails, messages within 24 hours
5. Obtain and maintain case management knowledge and effectively enter and track call data information utilizing Salesforce platform
6. Input data from source documents into Council Membership Databases. Receive, receipt, and process forms and reports.
7. Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
8. Manage, organize, and maintain files, logs, and other directly related records.
9. Process member registrations either via paper or electronically through the registration queue accurately and within council timelines.
10. Manage APD scholarship paperwork accurately and within council timelines
11. Accurately and within council guidelines, process deposit reports and balance sheets for finance (Sioux Falls location only)
12. Other duties as assigned.

1. This position will work in normal business or remote office environment conditions
2. Ability to lift, move and transport up to 20 lbs occasionally
3. Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment
4. Ability to move self in different positions to accomplish tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1.00 – $1.50 per hour
