Glassman Automotive Group Hiring for Automotive Office Manager Job at Southfield, MI Full Time

Glassman Automotive Group is currently seeking an experienced Dealership Office Manager in Southfield. You will be working directly with the dealerships Controller. We have 5 franchises.

This position requires previous experience working in the retail automotive industry. Dealertrack DMS experience is a plus. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting and financial records, managing the general Accounting, preparing period-end closing and financial reports, provide analytical accounting support in the compilation of Bank Reconciliations, Accounts Receivable, and Corporate/Payroll Accounting at this 4 franchise campus. The operation also includes a separate Used Vehicle Sales center onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, manage and train large office staff
• Support Dealer Operator in all aspects of running the business
• Review Account Reconciliations (bank, floor plan, accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc.)
• Cash Flow Management
• Review Physical Inventories (vehicles, parts)
• Review Taxes (payroll, state, federal, unemployment)
• Financial Statement preparation and analysis at month end and year end
• Daily operational reporting and analysis for all departments
• Review and administer Payroll and related tax reports

Qualifications:

• Only experienced automotive accounting personnel should apply
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
• Proficient personal computer skills (Excel, Word)
• Pre-Employment Drug Screening & Background Check Required
• Public Accounting experience a plus – but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
