Hardware Engineer Medical Devices Responsibilities:
- Design and develop hardware from idea to production, including reviewing and improving designs
- Test and support electronic medical diagnostic equipment
- Ensure engineering projects initiatives and processes comply with established policies and objectives
- Ensure compliance to ISO standards and quality management system
- Drive continuous improvement programs
Hardware Engineer Medical Devices Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience including design, verification, test, and documentation
- Experience in analog and digital design, medical device, circuit/hardware design
- Must be able to use a soldering iron
- Understanding of and adherence to FDA, ISO and design control procedures, regulations and standards
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering or related field required
- Physical requirements may include: standing, walking, reaching, bending/stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, sitting, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, hearing, visual acuity, color vision, and 2-way written/verbal communication
