Our client is a bustling and lively fast-food restaurant that is looking for a Payroll and Benefits Manager to join their growing company. The ideal candidate specializes in executing payroll and benefits duties in a fast-paced environment.
Payroll and Benefits Manager – Fast Food Restaurant experience required Responsibilities
- Process, review, and balance bi-weekly payroll. Ensure payroll transactions are processed correctly for time, earnings, benefits, deductions, taxes, garnishments, and other items that affect pay &/or company liability.
- Developing methods to boost employee awareness of their benefit options.
- Developing competitive and cost-efficient compensation and benefits programs
- Coordinating and participating in internal and external audits
- Preparing department budget
- Collecting, analyzing and reporting payroll, compensation, benefits and workers compensation data
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating resources, policies, programs, and practices, to maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and laws pertaining to payroll, wages, benefits and workers compensation.
Payroll and Benefits Manager – Fast Food Restaurant experience required Requirements
- Ability to maintain 100% CONFIDENTIALITY and professionalism with payroll and personnel information zero tolerance for divulging confidential information
- Bachelor s degree in business or human resources preferred.
- 3 + years of experience in HR or benefits environment and experience processing payroll &/or benefits administration
- Thorough knowledge of Gross to Net Payroll and General Accounting Principles
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
