Goodyear Tire & Co Hiring for Software Developer at Remote Full Time

Goodyear is seeking entry level talent for a Software Developer role. This position will part of an existing team in support of applications and special projects for Goodyear’s Fayetteville plant. Working with Front End technologies such as, HTML / CSS / JavaScript you provide full life cycle development including analysis, investigation, objectivity, and creativity in arriving at a solution. Additionally, you will provide collaboration of ideas and experimentations as part of this critical software team.

Principal Responsibilities:

· Design, develop and release Digital Business Solutions. This includes, custom software solutions, cloud platforms and 3rd party components (programs, processes, configuration) – All the while working within a larger system scope.

· Perform troubleshooting and investigation activities as it relates to technology incidents/outages/bugs. Develop break-fix solutions to problems involving causes that are not obvious. Identify and respond to problems by diagnosing and correcting errors that do not have a known cause.

· Investigate and report on latest information technologies, techniques, and processes.

Required Experience and Education:

· Bachelors’ degree, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Business Administration or a related discipline required.

· 3+ years of relevant experience.

· In lieu of degree, 8+ years of relevant experience.

· Basic knowledge of the current Office Product Suite

· Capable of working semi-independently

· Ability to build customer relationships through delivery of stable working solutions and follow-up

· Organizational, Communication and Time Management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
