The role of the Government & Community Affairs Manager (GCAM) is a cross-functional one with local, regional, and some national responsibilities. It is highly collaborative and requires flexibility and innovative thinking, with the opportunity to find new ways to inspire community action, partner with government officials, drive business growth and expansion, and promote social good for local residents. The Government & Community Affairs Manager will represent GFiber in a wide range of settings — from meetings with elected officials, government staff and homeowner association members to nonprofit organization leaders and affordable housing providers.

The Government & Community Affairs Manager will also be a part of a national Policy and Community Impact team with responsibilities including state, local and national government relations and policy issues, and our company’s overall community impact efforts including our digital equity product development, digital equity efforts, and collaboration with digital inclusion organizations both nationally and locally.
