Gourmet Factory Hiring For Senior Accountant at Hauppauge, NY Full Time

Manufacturing company in search of a Senior Accountant to join our team. The desired applicant will be a self-starter versed in all aspects of managerial accounting and GAAP, with experience in the manufacturing field. Applicant must work well under pressure and have the capability to learn and adapt to situations outside of accounting.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review monthly closing for all facets of company.
• Monthly updates of the annual forecast.
• Produce monthly financial statements.
• Ad hoc reporting on all facets of the business, including but not limited to sales, purchasing, inventory, expenditures, and finances.
• Weekly Check Run review and approvals as well as daily Positive Pay and Wire Approvals.
• Daily Cash Forecasting.
• Supervise and manage Accounting department
• Point of contact for annual review, insurance issues, and tax returns.
• Establishment of internal controls throughout the organization.
• Creation, and reporting on, an annual Budget. BvA reporting on a monthly basis.
• Oversee the AP and AR ledgers to ensure collections and payments are timely.
• Review and oversight of minor related entities bookkeeping.

Requirements

• Education Level: Minimal Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Preferred: CPA License
• Preferred: 5+ years accounting experience in manufacturing

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel

Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
