Student and Faculty Success Coordinator
Brief description
The position in human resources reports to the CEO. The role consists of compiling and keeping personnel records and recording data for each instructor and employee, including important personal information such as addresses, weekly earnings, absences, appropriate performance metrics, supervisory reports, performance and other pertinent instructor and employee related materials. This position will provide support to employees/instructors who have personal issues or concerns, with solid employee relations skill and understanding. This position will also provide student relation support for the Program Director and will support that position in working through student issues.
Tasks
·Answer questions regarding examinations, eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent information.
· Arrange for advertising or posting of job vacancies and notify eligible internal workers of position availability.
·Coordinate with Finance on payroll related matters to ensure that salary payments are made on time and correctly by ensuring that time cards and other payroll related details are submitted accurately and on time.
·Ensure compliance with all local and national HR regulations and laws.
·Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities.
·Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions.
·Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.
·Process and review employment applications to evaluate the qualifications or eligibility of applicants.
·Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence.
·Record data for each employee, including such information as addresses, weekly earnings, absences, performance metrics, supervisory reports on performance, and dates of and reasons for terminations.
·Conduct background check on prospective employees
·Deal with unemployment and workers compensation claims in conjunction with school leadership.
·Draft, build and maintain performance evaluation process and forms for approval by school leaders and support introduction and training and implementation of the program for the school
·Deal with student interpersonal issues and support the Program manager and instructors in ensuring compliance with all the codes and requirements for state licensure.
Qualifications and requirements
·Training in vocational schools or an associate’s degree;
·Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, to use logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, and to monitor/assess the performance of other individuals.

· Reports to the CEO of the Grabber School
Working conditions
·This is initially a hybrid part time position of 25 hours a week with the potential to grow with the school to a full-time position. There is flexibility in the days and specific hours of work and, with approval some of the hours can be worked remotely.
·Moderately noise in the workplace, with the loudspeaker and the number of people in the environment.
·Ability to navigate the workplace to meet the students and faculty where they are both emotionally and physically
·Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
