Job Summary and Qualifications
The Manager of Pharmacy is responsible for supporting the Director of Pharmacy in managing pharmacy operations. This includes implementation and enforcement of policies and procedures, supervision and training of staff, inventory management, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
What qualifications you will need:
- Pharmacist- Must have a valid active South Carolina registered pharmacist license
- Required education: B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy and a current pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy OR completion of a PGY 1 and PGY 2 Residency or a minimum of 5 years of pharmacy leadership & management experience
- Preferred education: advanced training in pharmacy management or administration; previous experience within HCA as a Pharmacy Operations Manager
- 5+ years of pharmacy management experience required
This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
