Position Overview:
Primary responsibilities will be focused on recruitment, on-boarding, and administration of benefits. Additional responsibilities include assisting managers with employee relation issues, interpretation of personnel policies, training, safety, and other operational and administrative duties. Support primarily to be provided to Grand View Lodge.
Duties & Responsibilities:

· Plan and coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities
· Partner with operators to determine the best sourcing/recruiting strategies for full-time, part-time, intern & seasonal staff
· Work to provide/organize/edit on-boarding paperwork to ensure compliance and convenience
· Coordinate daily/monthly benefits processing, enrollment, COBRA administration, terminations, etc. (Also to include benefit bill reconciliation)
· Participate on committees and special projects and seek additional responsibilities.
· May assist payroll in updating payroll-related records and distribution of payroll checks.
· Assist with collection and distribution of mail.
· Assists with “live-on” housing, to include assignment of housing units, periodic dorm checks and acting as backup liaison for team.
· Enters/updates employee data into ADP and other HRIS related or tracking systems.
· Assists in investigations, complaint intake, as needed
· Answers routine inquiries and performs public contact duties involving the collection, verification, and/or dissemination of human resources information.
· Participates in the review of current benefits and policies to determine necessary changes in requirements and coverage.
· Processes benefit enrollment and change forms, First Report of Injury forms from guest and staff, and processing background checks as needed.
· Conducts research and prepares a variety of statistical and administrative reports.
· Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
· Four year college degree in a related field desirable
· 1 -2 years of Human Resources experience.
· HRIS experience highly preferred
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· PC skills to include Microsoft software suite
· Requires ability to maintain confidentiality
· Willingness to work varied hours, periodic holidays
· Ability to stand, and, walk, 4 to 5 hours at a time, climb stairs, reach, and bend.
· This position also requires basic computer knowledge for report tasks, which would require good manual dexterity.
