Job Description
The Recruiter/Account Manager generates new business relationships by implementing effective sales and marketing strategies. The Recruiter/ Account Manager will develop a portfolio of accounts with recurring, high-volume recruitment needs. He/she will be responsible for sourcing and screening candidates based on the employer’s specifications. Our work environment is fast-paced and performance-based.
Recruiter/ Account Manager Responsibilities
The Recruiter/ Account Manager develops and maintains relationships with employers to generate job opportunities for our jobseeker base through constant cold-calling and other sales strategies.
Sources and recruits candidates from jobseeker base, and/or from general public using job advertisements, job boards, flyers, call campaigns, email campaigns, collaboration within Grant Associates programs, collaboration with community partners, etc.
Recruiter/ Account Manager works closely with the Career Advisor, Community Partner Coordinator and Intake Specialist to determine the types of jobs that match the skills and qualifications of our job seeker base
Markets job opportunities to job seekers through one-on-one meetings, virtual platforms and on-site recruitment events
Assists the clients with the development of personal goals and job readiness (Individual Responsibilities Plan) which addresses potential barriers to employment and how to overcome them.
Networks with community resources to provide services to address specific barriers customers must overcome to accomplish their employment goals.
Consistently updates and maintains the quarterly business development plan through multiple platforms while accessing multiple databases.
Develop and maintain relationships with all internal departments as well as within all Grant Associates programs locally and nationwide to assure strong collaboration efforts, sharing of best practices, and developing opportunities across the company.
Provides customers with labor market information that will help them to make better decisions about their select careers.
Hosts employment workshops to assist customers with completing job applications, resume writing, how to dress for success and practice interviews.
Account Managers match employment with training opportunities to provide customer with better career opportunities.

Recruiter/ Account Manager Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education, skills and experience related to the position. Preference may be given to those holding education credentials post high school diploma/GED
Successful experience in meeting goals in a high volume sales environment
Ability to thrive in a performance-driven business setting and consistently meet goals
Demonstrated successful experience presenting in front of large groups
Superior Communications skills in writing and orally
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a team
Strong organizational skills
Exceptional sales skills with a demonstrated ability to generate leads, close deals and deliver results
Critical and creative thinking skills
Demonstrated ability to lead and direct team activities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM applications and online sourcing tools
