Forensics Associate IIJob Summary: The Forensic Experienced Associate i responsible for working as an integral member of the client services delivery team. The candidate will be able to effectively and efficiently apply accounting, financial and analytical skills to assist the team in meeting the objectives of the specific engagement within a collaborative team atmosphere while simultaneously working on a variety of projects. Projects will span the range of forensic accounting matters and may include investigations, litigation support, sometimes in connection with supporting expert testifiers, corporate compliance, such as anti-bribery and anti-corruption consulting, as well as broader advisory matters. Job Duties: – Work closely with partners and managers on client engagements, practice development, and business development. – Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality. – Assemble, maintain, and finalize Forensic working papers with minimal supervision. – With limited oversight, prepare high quality schedules supporting findings. – Contribute to report writing in selected areas at direction of others. – Perform quality control procedures in connection with deliverables. – Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization). – Meet or exceed continuing education requirements. – Assist practice leadership in creating proposals, budgets, and work plans. – Participate in other business development activities as appropriate. – Other job duties as assigned. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field is required. Certifications/Licenses: None required Experience: – A minimum of 1 year of experience in public accounting or consulting experience. – Previous forensic, investigation and/or litigation support experience preferred but candidates with strong backgrounds in related disciplines such as audit will be considered. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: – Accounting and finance knowledge; proficiency in US GAAP and GAAS preferred. – Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. – Excellent analytical, research, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail. – Excellent verbal and written communication skills – Working knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools (e.g. IDEA, tableau, Power BI, Qlik, etc.) – Ability to work on multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast paced, interactive, results-based team environment. – Progress towards and/or desire to earn additional credentials such as CPA, CFE, CFF desirable. – Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships. – Ability to travel on short notice and work additional hours as necessary. – Travel percentage: 50%.
