Dishwashing/Assistant Chef

– DISHWASHING POSITION DESCRIPTION –

As a Dishwasher for Greek House Chefs, you will be expected to fulfill the daily requirements of dishwashing and cleanliness throughout the kitchen and service areas. From dishware to cooking equipment, to trash, and dining rooms, you will be responsible for the cleanliness on a daily basis. Once expectations are met, any additional work will be assigned by your superiors. If these daily job requirements are met and exceeded, there is a possibility for future advancement.

• JOB DUTIES –
• Collaborate with chefs on daily kitchen operations. Fulfilling tasks and duties assigned by the Executive and Sous Chefs as well as daily job requirements.
• Following proper cleaning procedure and upholding dish area, dining room, trash, and addition daily duties to the highest standard.
• Must have open availability during the day/afternoon for scheduling depending on chapter contract.
• late nights and/or weekends depending on account meal schedule.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs while in the workplace.
• Will be required to work 3 special events per semester that could fall on a night or weekend, depending on chapter contract.
• Ensure the overall relationship with the account is positive and in good standing at all times.
• Positively interact daily with students/clients providing excellent customer service.
