Greenheart is one of the fastest growing businesses passionate about changing people’s lives by offering an incredibly healthy product that also tastes amazing.
The company was founded in 2013 and is the combination of five local juice brands that have merged over the last couple of years. These mergers expanded the product footprint and channels to market while contributing to revenue and geographic areas served. In the last seven years, Greenheart has perfected its craft and today offers the very best fresh, cold-pressed juice in the Mid-Atlantic and, some argue, the East Coast.
In addition to juice, we serve unique combinations of avocado toast, superfood smoothies, acai bowls, quinoa bowls and other plant-based bites. We currently have 3 shop locations, with our much-anticipated Georgetown location opening in early 2022, and in DC’s Union Market in November 2021. We participate in over a dozen farmers’ markets throughout the year and our home delivery business is also expanding throughout Virginia, DC and Maryland. To support our operations, we’ve built a new 16,000 square foot production facility and headquarters space in Sterling, VA and are already looking for an additional 10,000 sq feet to support current growth.
We have aggressive growth plans over the next 4 years. We have doubled our revenues over the last 3 years and our goal is to hit $50m by 2024. We are funded through trading operations and existing investors. Our plan is to IPO in 2025.
Who You Are
Greenheart is looking for a Corporate (B2B) Sales & Marketing Manager to join the marketing team. Our team is growing, but is still very lean as we are in a growth stage. This is a hands-on role that requires managing multiple priorities and stakeholders. This position reports to the Vice President, Marketing and will collaborate very closely across multiple functions of the business.
This role is going to appeal to someone who enjoys and thrives in the culture of a start-up company. It’s for a candidate that is ready to roll up their sleeves and jump into a fast-paced, ever-changing environment that requires a lot of hard work. It’s the type of opportunity you will refer to for years to come based on what the team will achieve together, what you will learn as an individual, and the direct impact you will have on the business.
The ideal candidate has a background in B2B Sales & Marketing, and enjoys both the strategic work of defining a value prop and defining customer segmentation, in addition to tactical applications of developing sales materials, performing customer outreach, and working with our production teams to fulfill won opportunities. Big plus for those that have worked alongside food & beverage, catering, or wellness functions, and/or have relationships with Fortune 500 companies in the DC area.
Responsibilities:
· With leadership team, helps define the B2B value proposition for Greenheart
· Develops both standardized and custom sales materials, including presentations, one-sheeters, website content, and other materials as needed
· Performs competitive analysis to ensure our offering and pricing stands out in the marketplace
· Defines B2B customer segmentation approach to define top priority targets
· Performs initial sales outreach to identified targets
· Prepares meeting materials for leadership and supports in sales meetings
· Once sales are closed, worked with internal production team to fulfill product orders & deliveries
· Creates custom graphics and displays as needed
