As the Sr. Labor Relations Representative, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of employee/labor relations for both union and union free sites. This new opportunity will allow you to lead in the design and administration of current and new HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency in all locations. Partnering with other members of the Employee/Labor Relations team and the HR Business Partners, you will take the lead in varying employee issues between performance, investigations, complaints, conduct, grievances, suspensions and terminations.
What you’ll be doing:
Ensure consistency in policies, procedures, and application of rules in both union and union free sites
Facilitate and assist in managing the grievance/problem resolution procedure
Assist in facilitating Labor/Management meetings
Oversee investigations and/or escalation of issues like harassment, retaliation, discrimination, ULP/NLRB, EEOC charges, etc.
Determine when to communicate to local and regional Union representatives
Assist in Facilitating suspension/termination reviews
Serve as the labor/employee relations liaison to legal counsel
Provide guidance on performance management tools, i.e. PIPs
Participate in establishing and facilitating Union Avoidance Assessments
Assist in coordination of Unionization Campaign Response
Assist in providing Labor and employee relations training
Investigation Training and templates
Support as necessary in union negotiations
Assist in investigations when needed
What you should have:
Bachelor’s degree in related field
+7 years of employee relations experience
Must be able to travel as needed
