Reports to: Human Resources Director
Position Summary
Assist with all Human Resources related duties including, but not limited to, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, events, and various administrative needs. Manage a high volume of projects and reoccurring responsibilities while partnering with the Human Resources Director to ensure day-to-day activities and special projects are successfully completed, often with deadline pressures.
Job Duties
Administer all employee onboarding including initiating background checks, verifying I-9 documentation, and setting up direct deposit.
Answer associate questions regarding benefits, workers compensation, payroll, and timekeeping policies.
Competencies in all HR information systems, to ensure proper retention of associate information, employment changes, and documentation.
Provide employment documentation as requested by legal entities for the purpose of income and employment verification, unemployment, workers’ compensation.
Interface with employees and leaders to help administer employee programs.
Maintain a high level of privacy and confidentiality with sensitivity to associate and Club information.
Support the Human Resources department on various tasks and responsibilities.
Qualifications
Strong organizational skills while multitasking with prioritization and attention to detail.
Must be literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
Maintain a professional office presence for all internal and external guests for the Human Resources office.
An innate interest in helping others.
Education/Experience
Human Resources experience required.
Must be entrusted to always maintain confidentiality.
Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally.
Experience compiling reports, spreadsheets and working with computer systems.
Must be accurate, thorough, and able to utilize time efficiently.
Must be self-motivated and dependable.
