For more information, please visit: www.guidehouse.com. ResponsibilitiesReal Estate Analyst will function at a Consultant staff level to support project teams both at client sites and internally. Real Estate Analyst will include client management, solution implementation, and generation of project results. As a Real Estate Analyst, you will support a federal government client with real property portfolio optimization to help prioritize projects and streamline processes in alignment with various federal, department and agency requirements. Real Estate Analyst will gather and analyze data, identify gaps and trends, and make recommendations related to baseline performance and structure, as well as established best practices and benchmarks. Key Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, administering a real estate governance process to support strategic goals, data analysis and portfolio reporting, analytical support, including cost-benefit impacts of alternatives, tracking planned versus actual impacts, and program management. In addition, successful candidates must demonstrate the following:Understanding of federal real property, from both an acquisition and a portfolio management perspectiveAbility to work on diverse assignments that may vary from strategic planning for sustainability and resiliency, to project management and stakeholder coordination of customer-focused programsProvide project management support to include communications, project planning and tracking from project inception through implementationAbility to collaborate with the internal support team as well as regularly engage with the client to discuss work products and priorities and demonstrate critical thinking skills to determine when to escalate risks and issues to leadership for quick resolutionWe encourage career development and hiring for the long term. QualificationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited school and 1-3 years’ work experience; Or a Master’s degree from an accredited school and 1+ year work experienceExperience with federal real property projectsExperience conducting research, doing quantitative and qualitative analysis and assembling reports and executive briefingsExperience with developing and growing client relationshipsBusiness level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products to include TeamsAbility to meet criteria for and be awarded a Public TrustCurrently reside or ability to relocate to the Washington, DC areaUS Citizenship restrictions apply Preferred QualificationsAbove minimum qualifications and the following:Passion for sustainability, innovation, and resiliency in real estate portfolio planningKnowledge of Federal real property priorities, initiatives and challengesExperience in Federal real property leasing, right-sizing, and business case analysisExperience with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) acquisition management system or procurement lifecycle Additional RequirementsThe successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
