Gurley Leep is a family-owned company with 22 locations across five states and continues to expand. We are looking to add an Accounting/Office Clerk to our growing team. Duties include but are not limited to accounting support and title work.

Qualifications

This position requires someone with strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced work environment. Understanding deadlines and is able to apply the appropriate sense of urgency to tasks is a must.

This position reports to the Accounting Manager with hours from Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and is subject to a 40-hour workweek.

Responsibilities:

• Streamline auto dealer systems, including organizing filing systems, ordering office supplies, maintenance, scheduling meetings, and preparing financial statements

• Researches vehicle titles and resolves issues in a timely manner
• Handle miscellaneous clerical tasks as assigned

• Communicate with third-party vendors, service providers, and customers as a professional representative of our dealership management team

• Other administrative duties as assigned
• Consistently responds to customer inquiries and requests in a professional manner within company timelines

Requirements:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel required
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Work with minimal supervision but also works well in a team environment
