As the Director, Global Human Resources Technology and Digital Transformation, you are responsible for leading the HR Technology Team in the development, definition, delivery and alignment of the global HR technology strategy, roadmap, governance and support model with business values and objectives.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
Ensure seamless Transitional Service Agreement (TSA) exit as part of the recent company spinoff
Drive key projects necessary to set a strong foundation to support the development of the global HR operating model and digital transformation journey
Oversee the global HR technology portfolio that supports each stage of new employees with direct ownership of SuccessFactors, service management technology (e.g. ServiceNow, PowerApps, Employee Portal), Kronos and future opportunities to expand scope regionally and globally
Develop and deliver the multiyear HR Technology strategy, roadmap, and support model in alignment with GXO’s values and objectives
Elevate the relationship and act as a true partner with global and regional HR business partners, centers of expertise, People Services team, and cross-functional partners; set the direction and optimization of the HR technology portfolio to meet business needs while creating scalable, standardized, automated solutions
Establish and lead a high performing team with a culture of accountability that ensures delivery of timely and quality services
Lead the prioritization efforts and refinement of the global HR technology governance model
Accountable for the global design and management of HR technology and system programs, policies, processes, procedures, standards and security
Identify areas to enhance the use of existing and/or new solutions to drive operational efficiencies and improve the employee experience
Manage the implementation of new functionality and business process improvements such as requirements gathering/documentation, UAT testing, roll-out, end-user training and adoption
Remain proficient in the latest HR technology trends with a relentless focus on continuous improvement
Responsible for vendor management including monitoring internal and external service levels and regular business reviews
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent related work or military experience
7 years of HR technology experience
Strong skills and experience with applications that support HR systems
Experience working with ERP HR systems (e.g. SuccessFactors), ServiceNow and/or related technologies
Experience managing a global organization, leading onshore and offshore functional and technical teams
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Power Point)
It’d be great if you also have:
3 years of HR Technology leadership experience
Proven understanding of HR, payroll, finance and IT business processes and how they impact HR systems
Experience working within large, global, complex matrix organizations with a blended workforce of exempt and non-exempt employees
Strong project management and organizational skills
Skilled with being both hands-on operator as well as strategic leader
Proven ability to work in cross-functional, fast-paced environment
Skilled with driving complex operational initiatives
A collaborative, “no-surprises” approach to getting work done
