Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing and commissioning telecommunication platforms for various clients and facilities.
• Support the design of structured cabling systems, including inside plant (ISP) and outside plant (OSP), optical fiber, copper, security, network, electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS), building management systems (BMS) and phone systems.
• Work closely with our Mission Critical team to turn our client’s needs and our engineer’s ideas into reality utilizing AutoCAD and Revit modeling.

• Collaborate with professional engineering staff, conduct field studies, perform construction review and inspection, and interface with clients.

• Some travel to project sites to conduct surveys and studies is required.

Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree (AA) with emphasis in Architectural Drafting and Design or related field is required; BS Degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus;
• 2+ years of telecom design and/or installation experience;
• Proficiency in Revit, BIM 360, AutoCAD and MS Office applications;
• Strong willingness and desire to work in MEP/telecom engineering, design and construction;
• Knowledge of commercial building design and construction process;
• BICSI RCDD certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Must possess or have the ability to obtain a security clearance;
• Occasional travel to project sites is required;
• Must be authorized to work in US.
