Position Overview

The Logistics Manager is a key member of the Inventory and Logistics team. This position will work directly with the Director of Inventory & Logistics and Inventory/Fulfillment Technicians, VP of Wholesale, Wholesale Sales Team, Director of Security, Retail’s Inventory Team, and Accounting to ensure Happy Valley’s logistics planning and execution is delivered with excellence.

The Logistics Manager is responsible to work with and support the growth of the Wholesale, Retail and Product Manufacturing operations of Happy Valley; this includes implementation and execution of best practices, and work instructions.

Essential Job Functions

• Develop and execute scheduling Daily, Weekly, Monthly deliveries
• Knowledgeable, at all times, of where and when deliveries are scheduled to take place
• Coordinate deliveries of incoming cannabis products and biomass purchases
• Coordinate deliveries of all outgoing wholesale orders which include
• Support the intake of all wholesale customer onboarding documentation

• Review METRC transport manifests, COAs, and scale records for each wholesale customer’s orders.

• Coordinate the internal fulfillment of Happy Valley’s retail stores against inventory transfer requests for delivery.
• Supervise the transport technicians and provide coaching, as needed, to ensure they can achieve their KPIs
• Support Wholesale Sales Team in completion of necessary wholesale customer paperwork, as applicable
• Manage and arrange Happy Valley external outgoing deliveries in coordination with the Wholesale Team, Director of Inventory, and Director of Security
• Manage and arrange outgoing deliveries to Happy Valley retail stores
• Manage and arrange the pick-up and delivery of products from third party sources, to be utilized by Operations/Product Manufacturing
• Manage and arrange Happy Valley internal transport in coordination with Wholesale Sales Team, Director of Inventory, and Director of Security
• Address customer delivery/logistics questions, concerns, and requests with the Wholesale Sales Team, to improve efficiency
• Review METRC transport manifests and scale records to confirm the accuracy of the information
• Communicate effectively with multiple internal and external points of contacts
• Timely completion of weekly status reports, expense reports and misc. tasks as requested by the Director of Inventory & Logistics
• Support in managing finished packaged goods on Happy Valley’s ERP platform
• Implement and support all initiatives of the Wholesale Sales Team
• Key contact for delivery questions, complications, and adjustments
• Support Director of Inventory & Logistics in coordination efforts of growing the Wholesale, Retail and Manufacturing divisions of Happy Valley

Requirements

• Must be 21 years old
• Must be able to eligible for hire, in accordance with the CCC hiring guidelines
• Exceptional verbal and written skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• MS Office knowledge
• METRC knowledge, or willingness to learn
• ERP knowledge, or willingness to learn
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills
• Ability to gain and maintain strong professional relationships with both internal team members and external customers

• Must be able to work quickly and adapt to change

Preferred Skills/Abilities

• Prior experience working with logistics and coordination efforts.
• Medical/Adult use cannabis industry experience a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $75,000.00 per year
