This role will partner with HARIBO manufacturing plants, both global and domestic. The Director of Supply Chain is responsible for inbound and outbound aspects of finished product, partnering with our 3PL partners to maximize cost efficiencies for shipping and warehousing of HARIBO product, and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with our retailers, brokers, and distributors nationwide.
The ideal Director of Supply Chain will have 10+ years of experience working in supply chain with at 5+ years of experience supervising and leading supply chain teams specifically within the consumer packaged goods industry.

Responsibilities

Lead Supply Chain Operations of finished goods for HARIBO of America. Leading the Supply Operations,
Logistics, and Customer Success teams for HoA
+
Partner with Supply Planning and Demand Planning teams, collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
+
Execute strategies and direction to ensure project objectives are met on time and in full
+
Develops the function’s budgets, key imperatives, and strategic plans
+
Build strong customer and broker relationships for effective partnership providing excellent customer service to resolve customer inquiries
+
Effectively collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
+
Oversee 3PL vendor partnerships nationwide for warehousing and logistics
+
Demonstrate leadership competencies, cultivating associate engagement, and role modeling organizational values
Qualifications
+
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Business, or related discipline
+
10+ of experience working in supply chain functions
+
5+ years of supervisory/people management experience leading teams within supply chain functions
+
5+ years of experience within the CPG/Consumer Packaged goods industry, preferrable within FMCPG
+
Prior experience partnering with 3PL / 3rd Party Logistics partners for warehousing and transportation
+
Experience developing and overseeing budgets and strategic plans
+
Ability to travel overnight domestically and internationally as needed
Preferred Qualifications

Experience With SAP Strongly Preferred
+
Experience with tracking ocean freight and global imports is helpful, but not required
+
Advanced Excel skills, proficient in MS Office Word and PowerPoint
+
Experience presenting in front of groups, demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
+
Performance driven attitude with successful track record of process improvements
+
Ability to lead, develop, direct and hold others accountable to HARIBO’s high standards.

Ability to address complex issues in an effective and efficient manner with complete discretion; ability to be entrusted with sensitive and confidential information.

Result-driven with excellent judgment, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical, and decision making skills.
