ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Ability to interpret and enforce human resources policies, procedures, and best practices.
Ability to communicate professionally with executives, internal departments, corporate staff, site teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
Active participation in Harkins Adhoc (Advancing Harkins Organization & Culture) Committee
Oversee community service efforts for the Company to include but not limited to Catholic Charities, Villa Maria, Dragon Boat, Rebuilding Together, Habitat for Humanity, HCC Challenge Race, and Jeans for Charity.
Assist with benefits to include invoicing, open enrollment, unemployment claims, jobsite posters and panels, new hire state reporting, and annual notices.
Process employment verifications.
Assist with the full-cycle recruitment process
Coordinate monthly office lunch events
Represent Company in person at special events as required.
Liaison between corporate and field, disseminating policies, procedures, and best practices to employees and back to corporate.
Attend required corporate meetings, training programs, and Harkins University seminars/webinars.
Assist in maintaining performance management software
Utilize maintain Human Resources Information Systems
Perform additional duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, communications, or related discipline.
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience performing human resources job duties.
Exhibits good written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior management, corporate departments, project teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Proficient with Microsoft Publisher a plus.
Self-starter, strong work ethic, and a team player.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
