The successful candidate will actively participate in training, development, overall operations and financial cost controls. Manager may rotate daily/weekly to one of our four in-house restaurants; Ranch Kitchen; our high volume full service upscale coffee shop, Horseshoe Bar; our casual bar/ food venue, and / or our Steakhouse Fine Dining restaurant, as well as Banquets. Manager will assist in days off relief, while performing normally assigned tasks of a Department Manager. Manager will have exposure to our high volume restaurant that generates 13 million in food and beverage sales, has 100 staff members, working with 5-6 other floor managers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ongoing staff training and development
Provide leadership to Restaurant service staff through frequent reinforcement in sequence of service
and service standards,
Ensuring adherence to company standards, emphasis on staff efficiency and effectiveness, and
responding decisively to guest or employee challenges as they arise.
Maintain a visible presence on the floor; interacting with guests by name and ensuring their dining
experience meets or exceeds expectations.
Communicates to staff through daily pre-shift team member meetings.
Requirements / Knowledge / Abilities
Must have superior communication skills; both written and verbal and possess computer literacy in
MS Word, Outlook, etc.
Hospitality Degree or coursework from reputable institution
Minimum of 5 years high volume al a cart restaurant management experience;
Robust wine knowledge a plus
Has comprehensive understanding of Aloha Self accountable to time
management Mixologist experience a plus
Position requires professionalism, outstanding communication skills, leadership, and
Ability to work most weekends and holidays
