Job Summary

The Gemstone Sourcing Coordinator ensures that all jewelry, gemstones, and certificates received by the department are accounted, allocated and distributed in an organized, efficient and timely manner.

Key Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Physically verify all gemstones prior to posting systematic transfer receipt
• Physically verify that production orders contain corresponding merchandise prior to posting systematic transfer receipt
• Allocating production orders by order type (CSR, SSO, Model Stock, Advanced Inventory, etc.)
• Allocating gemstones to corresponding layout production orders
• Sorting and distributing gemstone memos instructed by the Gemstone Souring Manager
• Run weekly gemstone memo report for tracking and grading allocation.
• Assist the Operations Manager with monthly inventory scanning and reconciliation.
• Department courier for high priority needs & requests
• Ordering and maintaining department supplies
• Downloading/Scanning certificate image into HW Network as needed.
• Filing certificates that are processed by the Operations department as needed

Job Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and without direct supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with Management
• Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Self-motivated with a strong drive for achievement.
• Strong organizational and problem solving skills necessary
• Experience in data entry and filing clerk preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
